GUYS HELP ME

Okay did Lucy and Subject 16 ever actually canonly have a romantic thing going? Was it implied anywhere? Because for ages I’ve been like “oh yeah they liked each other” but I actually looked on their wiki pages and neither says anything about it and I can’t remember if there was anything in any of the games that hinted to it?
