I kicked Al Mualim into the wall but he rebounded and fell through Altair’s body and… yeah
It looks kind of painful
So at one point Al Mualim literally punched me to my death? His sword is sheathed and Altair just kind of fell down the stairs and gave up by the looks of it
And then Al Mualim was like “k cool I guess”
“Destroy it! Destroy it, as you said you would!”
“I… I can’t!”
“Yes you can, Altair… but you won’t.”
“Impossible… the student does not defeat the teacher!”
“I will miss you, Altair. You were my very best student.”
“An illusion?”
“That’s all it’s ever done, this Templar treasure, this Piece of Eden, this word of God. Do you understand now? The Red Sea was never parted, water never turned to wine, it was not the machinations of Eris that spawned the Trojan War, but this! Illusions, all of them!”
“And this is why so long as men maintain free will, there can be no peace.”
“I have stood before a thousand men, each of them superior to you! And all of them dead!”
“I’ve found proof!”
“Proof of what?”
“That nothing is true… and everything is permitted!”
“So Altair, we haven’t decided on a name yet but we’re leaning towards “Malik’s Angels”, what do you think”
